Pounds and Smiles

Are you having trouble putting on weight? A bit on the wispy side? Strong winds toss you around? Well, I gots what you need.

The twins had their two-month check-up today (and, miraculously, have dodged the flu bullet ripping through our house, whew). I’m proud to say they are growing like kudzu. Sprawling out in all directions. No holding them back. They’ll be growing right up the side of your house soon. (okay, i’ll shut-up now)

Alani put on another 2 pounds, now weighing in at 10lb 3oz and measures 22 inches. Ethan will soon be crushing city landscapes with his addition of 3 pounds to now weigh 13lb 12oz and measure 24 inches. B00bs, they do a body good.

The pediatrician was impressed that I’ve been exclusively breastfeeding the duo. I rarely see other b-fers; most of the women around are bottle feeders. So, I was proud and gave myself a little pat on the back. I joked that I should go on Survivor with these hefty jugs; my tribe would thrive.

I caught some sweet and sassy smiles from Alani on the digital camera (i still need to clear some space on the actual video camera). I’m playing around with different video sites on the ‘net. Let’s see how this one plays out.
